Prepare 20 to 30 questions. Open the Tic Tac Toe file in Excel. Divide the class into two teams: one team for X's and one for O's. When a team answers a question correctly, type an X or O into a square of their choice. The first team to get three in a row, wins.

Variation: Divide the class into three teams. The third team is the 'celebrity' team. They work together to answer each question. The X and O teams can either agree or disagree with the 'celebrity' team answer to earn X's and O's.

Prepare 20 to 30 questions. Open the Stair Climber PowerPoint game. Divide the class into three teams. Each time a team gets a question correct, they roll a six-sided die. Click on each stair step to make the team's character move up the steps. To win, a team must land EXACTLY on the top step. As a team approaches the top, they have the choice of taking what they rolled on the die, or passing it to another team to force them to go "too far." If a team goes too far, click the "Too Far" box at the top. Their character will tumble back to the bottom of the steps and that team will have to start their climb over.
